Do you remember when

When you still called me "friend"

We'd laugh and talk

and joke and play

When forever had no end?

Eternity was endless then.

How I miss way-back-when.

Do you remember when

When we called each other "friend"

We'd hug and cry

and dance and smile-

we'd say "together 'til the end!"

Forever was for always then.

But that was way-back-when...
